Inscription: (Inscribed in Mahayana Sanskrit text in Nagari script on reverse):

1. ye dharmmā hetuprabhavā hetun teṣāṃ tathāgato
2. hyavadat teṣāñ ca yo nirodhaḥ evamvādī ma
3. hāśramaṇaḥ deyadharmmo yaṃ pravaramahāyā
4. nayāyinaḥ paramaratnopāsakaḥ śrīma
5. hārājādhirājaḥ śrī kṛtanagaravikrama
6. jñānava(jr)ottuṃgadevamahārājaḥ yad atra
7. puṇyan tad bhavatv ācāryyopādhyāyamātāpi
8. tṛpūrvvaṅgamaṃ kṛtvā sakalasatvarāśer a
9. nuttara(jñ)ānapha(l)āvāptaya (i)ti||

“The Tathāgata [Buddha] has indeed declared the cause of those phenomena that arise from causes, as well as their cessation. Such is the teaching of the great ascetic. This is a pious offering of the great Mahāyāna follower who worships the Supreme Jewel: the glorious king-over-kings, his majesty King Kṛtanagara Vikramajñānavajrottuṅga. What merit there is in this offering, may it help the totality of all beings–first among them my preceptor, tutor, mother and father–to attain the fruit of unsurpassed wisdom.”
