金刚持（Vajradhara）是宣说密续的佛的显现，安坐于精美的镂空台座之上。可通过其肩旁莲花上所托的法器加以辨认：右侧为金刚杵（vajra），象征慈悲；左侧为铃，象征般若智慧。他佩戴着镶嵌绿松石的珍珠串饰。其中最特别的一串紧贴颈项，饰有“齿形”绿松石，这可能源于印度瑜伽士（yogis）佩戴的虎牙项链。
