IMPORTANTE STATUE DE SHADAKSHARI LOKESHVARA EN BRONZE TIBET, CIRCA XVEME SIECLE

Il est représenté assis en vajrasana sur un socle lotiforme. Ses mains principales sont en anjalimudra, ses deux autres mains en vitarkamudra, l'une tenant une perle, l'autre tenait certainement à l'origine le lotus. Il est paré de bijoux et vêtu d'un dhoti. Son visage est serein et doré à froid et rehaussé de polychromie. Ses cheveux bleus sont coiffés en un haut chignon orné d'un petit Bouddha. Son front est ceint d'une couronne ouvragée.

他呈金刚跏趺坐姿，坐于莲座之上。主臂双手于胸前结安迦利印（合掌印），另两手结说法印，一手持念珠，另一手原应持莲花。他身佩珠宝，下着裙裳。面容寂静，施冷金并加彩绘。蓝色头发挽成高髻，髻顶饰一小佛。额前佩戴精工铸造的宝冠。

Shadakshari Lokeshvara is one of the thirty-one forms of Avalokiteshvara according to the Sadhanamala. He is personified by the six syllable mantra of the Buddhists, 'Om mani padme hum'. The four-armed Sadaksharilokeshvara is seated in vajrasana on the lotus pedestal. The lower pair of his arms is in anjalimudra, the gesture of adoration against the chest while the upper right hand is holding a pearl, the upper left arm is in the attitude of holding the lotus which is not present.

根据《成就法鬘》（Sadhanamala）的记载，六字大明观音（Shadakshari Lokeshvara）是观音菩萨的三十一种化身之一。他以佛教六字真言“嗡嘛呢叭咪吽”为化身。四臂六字大明观音以金刚跏趺坐姿坐于莲座之上。下方双臂于胸前合掌作礼敬印，右上手持念珠，左上臂呈持莲花之势（莲花现已不存）。
